Stacy and Dorothy Grace's Visit
This past weekend Stacy and Dorothy Grace came to see us! We had a great time! We mostly just hung out around the house! We went to the pool one afternoon and "floated" a little. Dorothy Grace seems to like Chance and loves to say "baby." She is still more partial to our dogs! We had a fun time and can't wait to see them again. I did not get very many pictures (I will steal some from Stacy's blog)

4 month update
We went to the doctor yesterday and got our updated stats! Chance now weighs 14lbs, 12oz. is 25 inches tall! We were told he was in the 50th percentile in weight and 75th for height and head circumference. He is doing just great! He did really well at the doctor visit. He was smiling and laughing the whole time before our shots. He didn't cry for the first shot, but then let it rip after the second. Sweet boy! He calmed down pretty quickly.
We tried rice cereal last night with a spoon, and we ended up cleaning a huge mess. Basically he enjoyed tasting the cereal and spitting it right back out! Our pediatrician wanted us to try to start introducing it so we will see how it goes?!? I will try to post some pictures soon!

Visit with Family
My grandmother MiMi passed away this past Friday, so my family made the drive to stay with us on Monday night so we could all go to the services on Tuesday. It was a sad time, but nice to see all my cousins and family. Please pray for my Pa as he gets accustomed to being in the house my himself. He is an amazing man!
It was so much fun to see him doing the same magic tricks he did with us as kids with all the great-grandchildren now! My cousin Lance's little girl exclaimed after Pa "found" a quarter in her ear "I am MAGIC!" Enjoy the pictures from the last few days!

4 months old!
Our sweet little guy is 4 months old in two days (I am a little ahead)! He is so fun! He loves to smile and play with his toys, fingers, toes, etc. He watches the dogs play and is fascinated by Bailey chasing the ball. He is still sleeping very well at night! He thinks pig and farting noises are the funniest thing ever! (that is why you will see such big smiles in the pictures) I will post his updated stats when we go to the doctor this next week.

WeinerWise
So we have been doing Babywise with Chance since he was born. He has done very well with the routine and it allows me to keep my days somewhat sane!
Our weiner dog Sealy is very much of a routine "babydog" as well. Since Chance was born our schedule in the evening with her has changed dramatically multiple times. Now that he is sleeping through the night we have settled into a better routine where we are NOT going to bed while it is light outside! So we have noticed that Sealy has caught onto to this. She is like clockwork (just like Chance), and she will be standing by the back door at 9:45 every evening to let her out so she can go to bed! I commented to Ben last night that Sealy has definitely now by Weiner Wised!
