8 months old!

Hard to believe Chance is already 8 months old!  Fun facts of Chance Russell:

• Still has no interest in crawling!
• Loves to sit up and watch the dogs
• Loves for you to help him stand up
• Loves his jumper still
• Has developed a dislike for some foods and will refuse to eat them! Mostly vegetables!
• Dad has taught him how to throw (watch out doggies!)
• Sleeps 11 hours at night:))
• Loves to suck his thumb!
• Cries when handed to someone else!

First hair cut and Boerne Christmas Parade

So Chance's hair was getting long over his ears and had a little mullett in the back, so I decided to cut his hair myself. He did really good and I think it looks great if I might say so myself!!

We participated in the Boerne Christmas parade again this year. Our theme was A Christmas Story. We had so much fun! We ended up winning the "Best Float" out of around 100 floats. We acted like little kids whenever we won! Ben did not get to be in the parade this year:(( Our babysitter got sick so he got to watch Chance. They got to come see the float before we started. Enjoy all the pictures!

What we are thankful for...

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! We stayed in San Antonio for Thanksgiving with Ben's parents, and then headed to Bonham, Tx to see Ben's grandmother. She had never met Chance and I know she loved getting to meet him.  Chance now can hear the camera and will instantly start smiling! I tried to capture a candid moment with Ben's grandmother and he heard it, looked up and smiled huge! Gotta love his sweet personality.

What we are thankful for this year...

• Our sweet smiley baby boy Chance Russell Hembree.  He has brought more joy to our lives.  We love this little guy to pieces.
• Our families (both near and far)
• Our three dogs (so thankful that they love Chance as well)
• Our jobs
• Friends that we have met since moving here
• Fellowship at FBC Boerne
• I am so thankful for Ben.  He puts up with me when I am in my frantic moments! So thankful that he still loves me!
• Our God that has provided for our needs and loves us!

Visit to Stacy's and Cooler weather

This past weekend Chance and I went to go visit Aunt Stacy, Uncle Andrew, and Dorothy Grace! We had a great time! They really notice one another now and fun to see them interact! We attempted a photo shoot but was pretty unsuccessful!

With the weather getting cooler Chance has a new coat and a new beanie from his Gran and Aunt Genevieve! He loves to be outside so this helps him stay warm! Our happy little boy is growing up! Enjoy!

7 months old!

Crazy to think that our little guy is already 7 months old!  He is still just as happy as he can be!  Here are a few fun facts:

• He can say baba, dada (does not know what they mean, but loves to talk)
• Has two teeth (will bite if you let him get your finger in his mouth)
• Is a great imitator!  Will copy or "try" to copy any sound you make
• Loves to click his tongue and watch you do it
• Has mastered sitting on his own and now will roll both ways!
• Still a great sleeper at night!
• Loves to eat! Is a huge fan of oatmeal and any fruit
• Still loves the dogs
• Will jump in his jumper for hours (if we let him)
• Loves to smile and laugh at almost anything!
• He loves the camera and now knows what to do when you say cheese!
  
  
  

Happy Halloween!

For Chance's first Halloween we appropriately chose a dog costume!  He loves our dogs!  We had a great weekend.  We hung out with Tyler, participated in our neighborhood parade, took pics in the front yard, and showed off his outfit for his grandparents!  Enjoy! I pulled out my old camera so I took tons of pictures!
