Christmas in Lubbock!

We traveled to see my family over Christmas!  We had a wonderful time with all the family.  Chance loved watching his cousins!  We stayed busy the whole time we were there seeing family and playing with everyone.  This included a dance off on the Wii between me and Lauren versus Ben and Griffin! (sorry I only got video no pics)  Ben and I even got to go out on a little date to go see Narnia!  Thanks Mimi and Aunt Stacy!  It was so much fun!  What a great First Christmas for our sweet little boy!

Christmas 2010 Part 1

We celebrated the weekend before Christmas with Ben's family. We had a great time! Chance loved the wrapping paper and bows.

When we got home that weekend Chance did another first...He stood up in his bed from a seated position! He was so excited about it!

3rd Annual Tacky Christmas Party!

This year was the 3rd annual Hobb's tacky christmas party! We did not put as much effort as we have in years past, but still maintained the theme of tacky.  We were not the winners; the Nichols stole our title! Take a really close look at Travis' shirt!  Too funny!

Santa Claus!

Ben and I took Chance to go see Santa, and he did great waiting in line to see him!  Santa told him he was such a nice little boy!  He loved his beard!

8 months old!

Hard to believe Chance is already 8 months old!  Fun facts of Chance Russell:

• Still has no interest in crawling!
• Loves to sit up and watch the dogs
• Loves for you to help him stand up
• Loves his jumper still
• Has developed a dislike for some foods and will refuse to eat them! Mostly vegetables!
• Dad has taught him how to throw (watch out doggies!)
• Sleeps 11 hours at night:))
• Loves to suck his thumb!
• Cries when handed to someone else!

First hair cut and Boerne Christmas Parade

So Chance's hair was getting long over his ears and had a little mullett in the back, so I decided to cut his hair myself. He did really good and I think it looks great if I might say so myself!!

We participated in the Boerne Christmas parade again this year. Our theme was A Christmas Story. We had so much fun! We ended up winning the "Best Float" out of around 100 floats. We acted like little kids whenever we won! Ben did not get to be in the parade this year:(( Our babysitter got sick so he got to watch Chance. They got to come see the float before we started.
