Dance Party!

We all had a dance party before bedtime last night!  It basically consisted of Chance running and falling and screaming!  Hallie thought he was hilarious!  She was cackling at him!  I love to see their interactions together!  We have my cousins wedding in a few weeks and I am sure he will love the dance floor!!

Father's Day / Baby Dedication

What a wonderful Sunday!  We had the parent/baby dedication at church on Father's Day!  We did this two years ago for Chance on Father's Day!  We are so lucky to find such an awesome church family.  We have met such wonderful friends for our whole family!  We along with the congregation committed to raising our sweet Hallie girl as the body of Christ!  I pray that she knows the Lord at a young age and he does mighty and wonderful things in her life and others around her.  Ben's family was there to celebrate and commit sweet Hallie as well.  We ate out at lunch and then enjoyed naps and a trip to the pool! 

We all had new outfits for the day and when I put my dress on that morning sweet little Chance said "Oh mommy you look so pretty in your new dress.  Cool dress!"  He made several sweet comments through the day!  Nothing makes me feel more special.  He also tells Hallie alot how pretty she is!  I think he learns by hearing his daddy!  My sweet sweet boy!  He is going to make a great husband!  He also told Bailey later in the day "Hi Bailey, so very glad to see you!"  Too funny!

Hallie (finally) rolls over!

Our sweet little content thing finally rolled over!  Believe it or not she rolled to touch her brother.  She thinks he is wonderful and that served as her motivation.  Love her!!

Happy Birthday Ben!

We celebrated Ben' birthday this past Monday!  Chance really understands birthdays and was excited about having a "party" just the four of us!  We got him a golf club and Chance really wanted to claim it as his own.  Happy Birthday Ben!  We all love you!  Thanks for being a great husband and daddy!

Chanceisms!

Chance is saying the funniest stuff these days! He really soaks in all he hears!

Yesterday curious George was on television and Chance had never watched it before! It went to a commercial and he started saying I want to watch that monkey and I explained he would be back on after the commercials. He then repeated but I want to watch that monkey George Strait!! Too funny! I guess our son is a George Strait fan!

Last night Chance helped Ben wash his truck and when we were putting him to bed Ben told Chance thank you for helping daddy wash his truck! Chance thought for a while and said Thank you for taking fishing! Ben had taken Chance fishing on Saturday and really enjoyed it! He has such a sweet heart thinking of something to thank his daddy for!!

I went in to put Hallie's pacifier in while she was napping yesterday and had a little shadow follow me! As we got into Hallie's room Chance ran over to the crib and yells "hello sister, time to wake up!" He loves her!

I caught him the day before with a comb trying to use it as a spatula telling Hallie "come on roll over Hallie!" trying to flip her like a pancake!

I was telling Chance that mommy ran the other day! I was telling him that I ran fast! He looks at me and says "Mommy ran mommy ran fast like a car!"
