Well, I survived my first full week back to work! It was good, but a little stressful at times! Chance did wonderful all week with Ben's mom! She did wonderful as well (hope she is not too worn out)!! Enjoy the pictures! Chance is just growing and changing like crazy. He is always smiling and is a very happy baby! He is looking more like his dad!

Long awaited post!

I will apologize in advance for the lack of blogs! Ben started a new job this week (a huge answer to prayer) so my time for blog was a little limited. Enjoy! I also go back to work this next week so keep us in your prayers as we make this adjustment!

4 weeks old!

Our little Chance is 4 weeks old today! Hard to imagine! He is doing great! We went for a doctor check-up on Wednesday and he weighed 8 lbs 12 oz and had grown 1.5 inches! He still loves to smile (especially in the mornings!), loves to get his diaper changed, and is wonderful at taking baths! Ben and I saw him yesterday really looking at his hands and trying to put them into his mouth. It was so much fun to watch him learn new things. Enjoy the pictures!

He lost his umbilical cord this past Tuesday (3 1/2 weeks old) and had his first "real bath". He did wonderful. I think he really enjoyed it

Sorry for the delay! Stacy informed me I need to update! We are doing great! Made it to church again this week (we were only 30 minutes late for sunday school due to a feeding!) Hope yall enjoy the pictures. We are just loving this little guy to pieces!

On Saturday we all went out to Ben's parents. Ben played golf with his dad and Chance, Debbie and I hung out at the house. The picture is of Chance being fed by his "Gran" (we think that is name she picked)

We actually made it to Sunday School, church and out to eat with the Nichols. What a day!

2 Weeks Old!

Our little man is two weeks old today! It has been a hard two weeks and as Ben would put it "it has been the best two weeks and the worst two weeks" all rolled into one! We had a major accomplishment last night. I started pumping with the ok from my lactation consultant (a patient's mom, gotta love that!). Chance took his first bottle last night at 11:30 with his dad! He was a champ and downed it. Then proceeded to sleep for 5 hours in between feedings. So momma got a solid 6 1/2 hours straight! Enjoy the pictures! God has truly blessed our family more than we imagined!
