5 months old!
Chance turned 5 months yesterday! He is getting so big! He is still such a happy little guy! He has discovered the joy of screaming! He sounds like a kitty and usually does it when he is really happy. He loves to stand up (with assistance), can still only roll in one direction (stomach to back), has the cutest parted hair, can blow bubbles, smack his lips, loves the dogs (especially Bailey fetching), loves carrot and banana baby food, favorite toy is still his piano and and beads from Ben's mom, sleeps from 8:30pm until 7am, loves light up toys and music, still does not like Ben's low voice singing, and thinks that his Mama is the funniest person in the world!
He also started at Country home yesterday for two days a week! I think Chance enjoyed it, Mama on the other hand had a hard time! I guess it just takes time to adjust! Enjoy his pictures! We just love this little guy to pieces! He just makes me smile!
Trip to Lubbock over Labor Day
We finally made the trip to Lubbock! Ben got off a little early on Friday so we got to drive in the daylight! Chance did a good job in the car! Chance got to meet his great-grandmother GeeGee. They had a great time together! This is GeeGee's 8th great-grandchild! He laughed and laughed as she talked and played patty cake with him. She told him how much God loved him! It was very special for him to get to meet his GeeGee!
Saturday we went over the Chadna's new house for dinner and got to hang out with some cousins! We had a good time and nice to see everyone.
Sunday we just hung out and Chance got to swim in the pool. He really does love the water and does not care if it was a tad bit cold! Lauren spent the afternoon with us as the rest of Barak's family went to the tech game. We got to watch it from home! Lauren insisted that Ben and I leave so her and MiMi could take care of Chance.
We had such a great time with family this past weekend! Chance enjoyed meeting Griffin, Sarah, and Lauren finally! Looking forward to our next trip home! Enjoy all the pictures

Look What I Can Do!!
Yea Chance!! Yesterday he sat up by himself. He is still pretty unstable but always seems so proud of himself! We just love this little guy! Look at his sweet little parted hair!
Stacy and Dorothy Grace's Visit
This past weekend Stacy and Dorothy Grace came to see us! We had a great time! We mostly just hung out around the house! We went to the pool one afternoon and "floated" a little. Dorothy Grace seems to like Chance and loves to say "baby." She is still more partial to our dogs! We had a fun time and can't wait to see them again. I did not get very many pictures (I will steal some from Stacy's blog)

4 month update
We went to the doctor yesterday and got our updated stats! Chance now weighs 14lbs, 12oz. is 25 inches tall! We were told he was in the 50th percentile in weight and 75th for height and head circumference. He is doing just great! He did really well at the doctor visit. He was smiling and laughing the whole time before our shots. He didn't cry for the first shot, but then let it rip after the second. Sweet boy! He calmed down pretty quickly.
We tried rice cereal last night with a spoon, and we ended up cleaning a huge mess. Basically he enjoyed tasting the cereal and spitting it right back out! Our pediatrician wanted us to try to start introducing it so we will see how it goes?!? I will try to post some pictures soon!
