Visit to Stacy's and Cooler weather

This past weekend Chance and I went to go visit Aunt Stacy, Uncle Andrew, and Dorothy Grace! We had a great time! They really notice one another now and fun to see them interact! We attempted a photo shoot but was pretty unsuccessful!

With the weather getting cooler Chance has a new coat and a new beanie from his Gran and Aunt Genevieve! He loves to be outside so this helps him stay warm! Our happy little boy is growing up! Enjoy!

7 months old!

Crazy to think that our little guy is already 7 months old!  He is still just as happy as he can be!  Here are a few fun facts:

• He can say baba, dada (does not know what they mean, but loves to talk)
• Has two teeth (will bite if you let him get your finger in his mouth)
• Is a great imitator!  Will copy or "try" to copy any sound you make
• Loves to click his tongue and watch you do it
• Has mastered sitting on his own and now will roll both ways!
• Still a great sleeper at night!
• Loves to eat! Is a huge fan of oatmeal and any fruit
• Still loves the dogs
• Will jump in his jumper for hours (if we let him)
• Loves to smile and laugh at almost anything!
• He loves the camera and now knows what to do when you say cheese!
  
  
  

Happy Halloween!

For Chance's first Halloween we appropriately chose a dog costume!  He loves our dogs!  We had a great weekend.  We hung out with Tyler, participated in our neighborhood parade, took pics in the front yard, and showed off his outfit for his grandparents!  Enjoy! I pulled out my old camera so I took tons of pictures!

Growing fast!

 We went to the pet store the other day!  Chance loved looking at the fish!  He was mesmerized and starred at them with his mouth wide open!

 He now has 2 teeth on the bottom!  We are starting early with learning proper oral hygiene!

 Pops had a meeting in town this week so he got to spend 2 nights with us!  He even watched Chance one afternoon!  Chance loves his Pops!  Sorry MiMi:((

6 months old!

Chance turned 6 months last week, but just went to the doctor today!  He is doing very well!  Here are some fun facts of what he is up to lately!

• He got his first tooth a day before turning 6 mos old!  This was a very proud moment for his momma! He was a little fussy for one day and then did great!  So cute to see that little tooth.  It was the mandibular right central for anyone interested:))
• He really wants to be a thumb-sucker, but mom most of the time is successful with shoving a pacifier in during naptime! 
• He weighs 16 lbs.  7 oz. and is  27.5 inches long!  He is skinny and tall!
• He can sit up on his own pretty good! 
• Still loves all light up toys and toys that play music!
• He sleeps from 8:30 pm till 7am at night!  He takes 2 long naps during the day and one short nap early evening!
• He is eating baby food 3 times a day now and a bottle 4 times a day!
• He will smile and laugh at almost anything!
• He loves to watch the dogs!
• Still will only roll over in one direction.  He does not like to be one his tummy unless something is very interesting in front of him!
• Gran, Ben's mom, is still watching him 4 days a week for us, but next week  nanny Tiffany starts two days a week.  Chance loves spending time with his Gran!

Miller Family in San Antonio

Stacy, Andrew and Dorothy Grace came to San Antonio this past weekend!  We had a great time together.  They got here on Friday evening and we met them to eat at Fire Wok.  It was Chance's first time to sit in a highchair in public.  He did very well!  On Saturday morning, Ben had to work so the rest of us went to the zoo!  Dorothy Grace liked the petting zoo the best and Chance really only noticed the fish in the tank with the hippo!  He slept the rest of the time there.  We all got to meet Ben for lunch, and then that afternoon we went to Boerne to pick out some pumpkins. DG thought they were all balls and needed to be picked up and thrown!  We had a great time together with them here.  Glad the cousins got to spend time together!  Pheeona came so she got to enjoy her dog cousins as well!  Enjoy the pictures!
